Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Gift ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Gift mobile app (the "Services"). By creating an account or using Gift, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Gift

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gift. By using the app, you're confirming that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You sign in to Gift using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your device and account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings inside the app.

Subscriptions and billing

Gift offers a free tier and an optional paid tier ("Gift Plus"), currently $3.99 per month or $29.99 per year. There is no free trial; a purchase is a purchase from the first tap. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings, or from the Gift Plus row in Gift's own Settings, which links there directly. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's own refund policies; we don't process refunds directly and can't override Apple's decisions.

What Gift does and doesn't do

Gift is a habit-tracking and focus tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app should be treated as professional medical, psychological, or health guidance. If you have a health concern, please talk to a qualified professional.

Gift's app-blocking feature (Focus) uses Apple's Screen Time system to help you limit distracting apps during a session. It is a personal tool for your own use and is not a guaranteed technical restriction; Apple's Screen Time settings can always be changed directly on your device, and Gift cannot prevent that.

Your content

The habit and schedule data you create in Gift is yours. We don't claim ownership over it. We store and process it only so we can provide the app's features back to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Gift. This includes not attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or its backend systems, not using the app for any unlawful purpose, and not attempting to circumvent the subscription system.

Changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Services entirely. We'll try to give reasonable notice of major changes where practical, but we don't guarantee that any specific feature will always be available.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Gift is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific expectations for building or maintaining any habit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using Gift and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law wherever you access the Services from, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Gift after a change means you accept the updated terms.
